The problem

A whiteboard bracket and a cash box

Most tournament nights still run on a whiteboard or a printed bracket. Someone draws the lines by hand, crosses out names as matches finish, and redraws half of it when a player doesn't show up. Double elimination makes it worse: the losers side is where hand-drawn brackets go wrong.

Players crowd the front desk asking who they play next and which table they're on. Staff juggle the bracket, the tables and regular customers at the same time, and a table meant for the next match gets given to a walk-in.

Entry fees end up in a notebook or a separate cash box. At the end of the night nobody is sure who paid, and the money never shows up in the hall's reports next to table time and bar sales.

The solution

The bracket, the tables and the fees in one place

CuePoint Tournaments runs single and double elimination brackets for 4 to 128 players. Pick the game (8-ball, 9-ball, 10-ball, One pocket, Straight pool, or your own), set the race, register players from your customer list or by name, then make the draw. Byes are placed for you.

Assign a match to a table and the floor shows it, so nobody starts a regular session there by mistake. Enter each player's racks won and the winner moves on by themselves, on the winners side and the losers side. No-shows and players who concede are recorded too, and a wrong score can be corrected.

Entry fees are collected at the desk with the payment methods you already use. Each fee gets a receipt, shows in Transactions, and lands on its own "Tournament fees" line in your reports. You can also start a billed or free session on each match's table, so table time is charged the way you want.

Turn on the public page and players follow the live bracket on their phones by scanning a QR poster, while a TV in the hall cycles between the bracket and the matches being played. When the last match ends, the standings are ready and the bracket prints for the wall.

Key features

What a tournament night gets

Single and double elimination brackets

From 4 to 128 players, with automatic byes, seeds you can reorder or shuffle, and a grand final that can go to a second match.

Scores that move players on

Enter racks won and the bracket updates itself. Each round can have its own race, and no-shows, concessions and corrections are handled.

Matches on your tables

Assign a match to a free table and it shows on the floor. Start a billed or free session for it, or use the table as a marker only.

Entry fees with receipts

Collect fees at the desk, confirm players when they pay, and see the money as "Tournament fees" in your reports. Refunds work like any sale.

Live bracket for players and a TV

A public page with names and scores only. Share the link or print a QR poster, and put the TV view on a screen in the hall.
