Keep the line moving and sell to it
CuePoint's waitlist takes orders while a party waits, lets them sit at the bar without losing their place, and carries everything onto the game when a table frees up.
Free plan available. No credit card required.
A paper queue and a scrap tab
On a busy night the queue lives on a clipboard. Names go on, names get crossed out, and nobody is sure who is next. When a table frees up, staff shout a name and hope the party is still there.
Waiting parties want a drink. Today that drink lands on a scrap tab at the bar, or on the wrong table, or in someone's head. When the party finally sits down, staff re-key what they ordered, or forget it.
If the party waits at the bar, the bar bill and the place in line are two unrelated things. Seat them and the bar bill stays open behind them; forget it and it gets settled twice or not at all.
One line, one bill
The waitlist is on the Tables page. Each waiting party has an "Add items" button: the products go on an open tab named after the party, with stock and totals tracked like any sale. Add more at any time.
If the party wants to wait at the bar, staff pick a free bar table and tap "Sit at bar". The party stays on the waitlist, their items move to that bar table's bill, and new orders go there too. On Growth and Pro, customers at that bar table can also order from its QR code.
When a billiard table is free, staff tap "Seat". The game starts and the party's tab or bar bill moves onto it in one step, when every item can move. A tab that can't move (an item now out of stock, for example) stays open in the POS for staff to settle. "Not at the bar" brings the items back with the party as an open tab.
One checkout, one receipt. Orders placed at a bar table are credited to that table; orders taken while the party was still waiting are credited to the table they were seated at. Waitlist orders are on every plan.
What a busy night gets
Add items from the waitlist
Sell to a waiting party straight from their row. The items sit on an open tab named after them until they are seated or settled.
Sit at the bar, keep the place
Move a waiting party to a free bar table. They keep their spot in line and their orders follow them to the bar table's bill.
Seat with everything on one bill
Seating a party starts the game and carries their tab or bar bill onto it. When the party is at the bar, the transfer window shows what will move before you confirm.
Transfer from the bar table itself
Staff can also open the bar table, tap Transfer, and pick the billiard table. The party is marked seated when the transfer is confirmed.
One checkout, one receipt
Drinks ordered while waiting, drinks ordered at the bar, and the game all settle together with the payment methods and receipts you already use.
