Kibaroglu Defends Texas Open Ladies Title Against Local Favorite Aryana Lynch

At the Predator Texas Open Championship, held at Skinny Bob’s Billiards in Round Rock, TX, over Labor Day weekend (Sept. 4-7), international and domestic players competed across multiple divisions. While American players dominated the fields overall, athletes from other countries secured victories in two of the three main events. In the One Pocket division, which featured 32 entrants, three out of every four competitors were American, but non-American players claimed two of the top honors.

The Ladies division saw a dramatic final as Turkish player Zeynep Kibaroglu successfully defended her title, defeating local favorite Aryana Lynch in a closely contested match. Kibaroglu’s performance marked a significant achievement, as she continued to assert her dominance on the international billiards stage. Lynch, representing the home state of Texas, put up a strong fight but ultimately fell short against the experienced Kibaroglu.
