Benko and Sukritthanes Win Titles at 2026 WPA European Heyball Open

Event Concludes in Kielce with Strong Showings from Top Players

The 2026 WPA European Heyball Open has wrapped up at the Grand Hotel Kielce, marking the end of a competitive tournament that saw top players from across the continent compete at a high level. Maks Benko from Slovenia and Waratthanun Sukritthanes from Thailand emerged victorious, claiming the men's and women's titles respectively after several days of intense competition.

The event, sanctioned by the World Pool Billiard Association (WPA), attracted 102 participants, including 64 men and 38 women, representing multiple countries. The tournament provided a platform for athletes to showcase their skills and compete against some of the best in the region.

Both Benko and Sukritthanes demonstrated exceptional performance throughout the event, securing their titles with consistent play and strong tactical decisions. Their victories highlight the rising talent in the sport and reinforce the global appeal of Heyball, which continues to grow in popularity across Europe and beyond.
